The group was founded in Australia in 1997, but has a distinct international flavour.

In addition to providing Tilde skills with editorial services, The Tilde Group is also the main authoring entity for this imprint.
Under this imprint, The Tilde Group designs and publishes valuable educational resources that are clear, concise, easily accessible and affordable.
These publications are then distributed by Tilde Publishing in a growing number of countries. Currently Tilde publishes in Australia and New Zealand.
Tilde University Press
Tilde University Press (TUP) is Australia's newest independent tertiary publisher.
The Tilde Group provides Tilde University Press with 'best practice' editorial services. In addition to giving TUP publications a professional look and quality finish, The Tilde Group can assist new authors and busy academics with time-saving techniques to make writing and being published a more enjoyable undertaking.
